To begin the styling process, I developed a concept for the shoot and the creative direction I plan to go in. I collect imagery for inspiration and examples for the photographer, and to refine the vision.

Next, I begin looking at and pulling pieces from Ap0cene’s site. I organize images of pieces to create a moodboard before physically putting items together to see what works and what doesn’t. This is also when I assign models to their looks.

When it’s time to do the shoot, I create a timeline for the day to keep everyone on track, as it typically gets hectic. I coordinate with the photographer and models to discuss the vision, making sure everyone is on the same page.
